about bureau susette

susette's profile

• Graduate of Design Academy Eindhoven (2002).

• Creativity and structure — intuitive yet well-considered.

• A keen sense of intuition. I observe, ask questions + listen carefully.

• I filter out the noise and bring the gold to the surface.

• I keep digging until the essence becomes clear — until it’s obvious what a brand truly stands for and which direction is the right one. Not superficially, but at a fundamental level.

• My approach is rooted in service design: I look at the bigger picture. Not just the form, but the experience and the overall coherence.

• Meandering together to create future-proof solutions.

inspiration: skincare

As a skincare geek, I want to know everything there is to know about the skin and its most beneficial ingredients. This never-ending quest manifests itself in photography, product development and books on skincare.

inspiration: medicinal plants

For three years, I studied to become a herbalist. I learnt to identify and process herbs into hydrosols, infusions, tinctures, creams, ointments, macerates and essential oils.
I believe in the importance of integrative medicine, which combines conventional medicine with complementary treatment methods, such as naturopathy and acupuncture. I want to learn more, because the more I learn, the more I realise how little I actually know.

ex-lover

Vitis vinifera, once my great love, shaped a decade of writing for Bouillon Magazine. Now, I enjoy the occasional glass, but my focus has shifted to skincare and health—where nature and science meet.
